Last week
India was shamed by its people and leaders yet again Shortly after several
attacks were made by Indian nationals on African students in Greater Noida. Our
BJP neta Tarun Vijay went on Al Jazeera and claimed (I paraphrase here) that
the attacks could not possibly have been racially motivated because Indians are
not racist because look we tolerate south Indians. It is truly frightening to
know that BJP has selected this person to be president of the India-Africa
Parliamentary Friendship Group-someone without a basic dictionary definition
for the world racism, and more depressingly, for the world Indian.
What Tarun
Vijay exactly said we live with KALUS, how can we be RACIEST? I wish he had
stated “We are a country of diversity and we have full unity” by these worlds
he would have been branded a NEHRUIST” not acceptable to RSS.
Jammu University defends its students
against ABVP charges
ABVP Claims That in a video, Two
students from Kashmir Are seen talking to each other during the National Anthem
The Jammu
University on Saturday dismissed allegations leveled by the Akhil Bharatiya
Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) that some Kashmiri students disrespected the national
anthem during the inaugural ceremony of an inter-university sports event,
earlier this month.
This was
another attempt by the right wing to alienate the people from the valley. Will
the BJP and RSS advise such elements to be rational and reasonable.
