Sino-India Relation – Where we stand

India Today publication about two years back had a photo of Dalai Lama in there weekly issue – heading “DO WE NEED DALAI LAMA
Dalai Lama escaped to India in 1959. He was accorded political asylum in India and since then he is heading Tibetan Govt. in EXILE from Dharamshala. Which resulted the 1962 Indo-Sino War. (Which is well known and not being discussed).
As a follow-up the US opted to extend extra ordinary help to India assuring military take over of Tibet. With this idea an organization was created named “Directorate General of Security. It had three wings ARC (Aviation Wing ) SFF (Military Wing) SSB (Social Wing) US Govt. promised India to prepare a Para force of nearly 20000 personnel to be Para dropped to take over Tibet. Not going into further details much didn’t happen. The DGS was merged with RAW in the year 1968 when the organization (RAW) came into being.
The US took full advantage of the situation and established their Intelligence activities against China. Not only that their Intelligence agency CIA started supporting Dalai Lama and his total entourage in India. Mending ways with China would help freeing Pak from clutches of China.

NSG, Azhar shouldn’t derail India-China ties

The reason why Indian foreign policy has not been effective is that New Delhi shies away from transactional diplomacy The reason why Sino-Indian relations are in a bad state has a lot to do with the way India conducts its foreign policy, rather than their much talked up geopolitical rivalry.
India seems to be demanding that Beijing support to India’s entry into the NSG and lift its hold on the designation of Masood Azhar as a terrorist under UN’s 1267 committee, on principle. The only thing on offer is Indian goodwill, a currency that has little value with the hard –headed Chinese, Who like most other nation, believe that international relations are about given and take.

India has to take vital decision in its foreign policy initiative
Do we need DALAI LAMA or CHINA ?

Kashmir – Where we Stand ?

There are two most important issue of our foreign policy initiatives, first and fore most Indo-Pak relation in the second is Sino India relations we stand on both issues exposed and we are indirectly charming and glorifying our absurd and ill-founded newly founded foreign policy.

Valley is burning since July 2016. Hundreds have been killed or wounded. Recently held by election in the valley registered the poorest  voting percentage – just 7.5% are the locals rejecting the process of democratic India ?

What do we do ?
Begin talks or things will worsen

A growing number of youth in Kashmir are finding militancy an attractive option

The Valley is caught in the midst of a vicious cycle, in which more and more youth are finding militancy to be an attractive option. The numbers tabled in Parliament are a scary reminder of the fact that local Kashmiris are choosing violence : 2016 saw 88 locals join militancy, up from 21 in 2012 and 16 in 2013. The number of encounters too is up and so are civilian deaths because the youth are now pelting stones at the security forces at encounter sites and helping militants escape.
Breaking the vicious cycle is imperative and it cannot be done with force. If the answer lay in stamping out protests with an iron boot, the youth would not be back on the streets after over a 100 killings and blindings that followed the death of militant commander Burhan Wani last year. All stone pelters are clearly not Pakistan’s handmaidens. Kashmir’s problem is intrinsically political, not military. No answer can flow from the barrel of a gun. The way forward-as the summer months approach-lies in engagement.
It must reach out, sooner rather than later.

Official India Hates Fun
Before we ban something outright, we should think consequences and global standards

For some reason, officially, Indians are supposed to hate fun. Little wonder our politicians or courts don’t spare a moment to reconsider a decision that will kill fun.  As long as the intent is good we don’t mind crushing anything fun, even though the decisions might not achieve anything worth while.

Overnight, the 500 meter alcohol sales rule has rendered thousands of businesses unviable and will make lakhs of people lose their jobs

If we analyze the statics published by NCRB (National Crime Review Bureau) nearly 1.8 lakhs people are killed in road accidents every year on Indian Roads. The number of people killed in drunken driving varies between 25 to 50 people every year in last three year 2014 to 2016. The number is very marginal. To make drunken driving deterrence we should consider the following options –
a)     First offence – Rs. 10,000 fine and punching of driving license as a warning.
b)     Second offence – Rs. 15,000 fine and suspension of license for One year.
c)     Third offence – Rs. 25,000 fine and suspension of license for Three years.
d)     Forth offence – Rs. 50,000 fine and suspension of license for Life.

May be we will achieve batter results

Racial Discrimnation – Colour Coding
Tarun Vijay proves that not only are we racist but also very good at it

Last week India was shamed by its people and leaders yet again Shortly after several attacks were made by Indian nationals on African students in Greater Noida. Our BJP neta Tarun Vijay went on Al Jazeera and claimed (I paraphrase here) that the attacks could not possibly have been racially motivated because Indians are not racist because look we tolerate south Indians. It is truly frightening to know that BJP has selected this person to be president of the India-Africa Parliamentary Friendship Group-someone without a basic dictionary definition for the world racism, and more depressingly, for the world Indian.

What Tarun Vijay exactly said we live with KALUS, how can we be RACIEST? I wish he had stated “We are a country of diversity and we have full unity” by these worlds he would have been branded a NEHRUIST” not acceptable to RSS.

Jammu University defends its students against ABVP charges
ABVP Claims That in a video, Two students from Kashmir Are seen talking to each other during the National Anthem

The Jammu University on Saturday dismissed allegations leveled by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) that some Kashmiri students disrespected the national anthem during the inaugural ceremony of an inter-university sports event, earlier this month.
This was another attempt by the right wing to alienate the people from the valley. Will the BJP and RSS advise such elements to be rational and reasonable.

W must call a spade a spade
As murders by ‘Gau Rakshaks’ rise, it is time to stop cloaking these terrifying incidents in euphemisms such as manhandling

End the euphemisms. Call it by its name-Murder. Not manhandling. Not vigilantism. And stop saying, ‘Gau Rakshaks, ‘please. The men who dragged Pehlu Khan out of his vehicle on the Alwar highway in Rajasthan, flung him on the roadside and lynched him so brutally that he died four days later, are not ‘protectors’, self-appointed or otherwise; they are not even ordinary criminals. They are thugs, who driven by blind religious prejudice, and emboldened by an environment that will justify the perpetrator instead of standing with the victim, brazenly killed an innocent man.
Such actions are given by euphoria of extreme aliments of rightist politics. Indirectly driven by State politics and the supported by the Central Govt. A serious mater needs to be tackled firmly and diligently.

When debate becomes futile
Both society and State have become cynical about liberal ideals like institutional autonomy and freedom to think.

Both society and State have adopted a cynical attitude towards liberal ideals like institutional autonomy and freedom to think. Colleges and universities are no longer perceived as communities based on knowledge and learning. No one seems to believe that such a community has elegance or a role to play. In this situation, we are tempted to isolate the violence that erupted in a college in Delhi or the gagging of opinion that occurred in another. These incidents should remind us that institutional recovery is not matter of fixing a few wrongs.

India’s Politics of Fear
Both right-wing and ‘secular’ parties have unleashed a vicious cycle of extremism
If India is to survive as a nation, the time has come for such insanity to stop. Indian politics badly needs a return to balance and statesmanship

Akhilesh Yadav Stated
“I was not defeated by BJP but by the RSS & MODI”

Urjit Patel RBI Governor Stated
“Loan waiver a moral hazard”

Ideology Must Not Come Into This

The RSS should leave the task of framing curricula to those with domain knowledge

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh seems to be quietly broadening its remit these day. The RSS chief’s meeting with vice-chancellors and academics to discuss how social science research in the country should be guided and how to crate a “positive national narrative in academics” is indicative of this. For an organization which claims to be purely cultural, the RSS seems to be exceeding its brief quite regularly. The main thrust of the RSS these days seems to be to reform’ education and purge it of all Leftist influences. Among the issues that seem to get its goat are the Mahishasur Shahadat Diwas and the Kiss of Love campaign, both seen as alien and corrupting in its eyes.

Ram Mandir

It is big issue and all Indians support this. Regardless of there Political thinking. But some wrong people who have no locus standee the society. Subramaniam Swami is one such personality who is spoiling the show. SS is isolated politician who was a one man party for 25 years (Headed Janta Party) Having appreciated his disruptive and destructive aptitude and attitude BJP made him join and got him to Rajya Sabha Allotted him the largest bungalow (Type-VIII) and appointed him master of absurd and hurting statements/utterances. A  Tamilian Bramin assigned the task of the destabilizing  the social fabric of India. RSS and BJP should tame this unbridled individual – if they want to succeed in there mission of RAM MANDIR.

Not Much Vikas-Facts as Stated by Experts

First : What is the prime minister’s record on development and governance? In three years of BJP rule at the Centre, GDP has grown by 7.4% on average (if you accept the method of calculating growth brought in by the Modi government). The record of UPA was 7.8% in its first 5 years, 7.5% in the next 5 years, and 7.65% over 10 years. UPA achieved these figures despite the 2008 financial crisis and dipping growth in 2011-13. It also recorded rates of 9.3% in 2005 and 2006 and 10.3% in 2010-Modi has come nowhere close.

Second : Attracting FDI is supposed to be a great success story for the BJP government. In 10 years of the UPA governemtn, FDI as a proportion of GDP averaged 1.86%. This is after the 0.76% of the Vajpayee years. Over the past three years, the NDA government has averaged 1.83% - hardly a breathtaking pace.

Thirdly : The prime minister promised to “Make in India”. Has manufacturing boomed and produced jobs for the tens of millions entering the labour market? The figures for both are not that easy to access –which raises questions of its own. But no one would say that there has been much improvement.

Fourthly : Even before demonetization, it was clear that manufacturing was stagnant. On the other hand RBI figures reveal that in 2015-16, manufacturing actually shrank, to tune of 3.7%. as for jobs, 1.35 lakh jobs were created in 2015-also the lowest in 7 years.

Fifthly : On GANGA the government allocated Rs. 20,000 core in its first year, 20 times more then all the spending on the river since 1985. No one seriously claims any think has been achieved – hardly surprising if you put Uma Bharti, the great administrator, incharge.

Sixly : Freedom to start business in India. We were 112 globally we have fallen behind to 143rd position. This is graduated on 4 parameters, ‘Economic Independence Rule of Law Government’s Functioning Investors Trust and Open Market Policy. As a matter of interest “Hong Kong” is the most proffered state followed by Singapore, Newziland, Swizerland, Australia, Canada,
