It is worth mentioning that prior to 1962 whole of NE was maintained by air dropping. Initially Kalinga Air Line (Owned by Biju Patnayak, Who himself was a pilot). Gradually 43 and 49 Sqn. of the IAF were inducted to under took this task. Imminently after 1962, CSG (China Study Group) was created to under take the task of Infra Development. It is worth mentioning supply dropping task which use to be nearly 1,50,000 tons per month was nearly brought down to Just 5000 tons per month. This Infra Development ensured nearly whole of North East was being maintained by Road Infrastructure. May be earlier Government’s were not publicity oriented. b- EAM also commented on Shri K. Subramanyam (His Father) he was the most respected and renowned strategist, who had two tenures as Director IDSA. To say that them PM IG didn’t like him is not substantiated. c- When so much is being said about China in Galwan Valley Sector, why not publish a WHITE PAPER since 2014 to 2022 ?.
